Beginning AND the End

At the start of a new year I usually have this thought.  Great is Thy Faithfulness!  The Lord never changes.  We can be thankful for who He is and what He has done and what He will continue to do.  When the heavens were opened for the apostle John on the isle of Patmos, Jesus identified Himself this way:

Revelation 1:17–19 (ESV)
17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, 18 and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. 19 Write therefore the things that you have seen, those that are and those that are to take place after this.

Jesus is the first and the last! Whether you're talking about the end of the year or the beginning of the year, He's got it!  He walks among the churches! (Revelation 1:13, Revelation 1:20).

Take 2013 and give to Him!  He is faithful to complete it, and let's trust Him for miracles.
